petting zoo

Very good to bring young children until pre-teens. Also can be very expensive in addition to the five dollar charge to get in, there or many hidden charges for addition activities.

Love the pick-your-own strawberries and tomatoes in season. The market has normal vegetables, locally grown when possible. Also, there is a small meat cabinet with locally produced meats. BONUS...Upper Crust pies are readily available as well as the best pull your own half sour pickles.

I expected more from this place. :( yes, there are some fresh, local veggies but not anything you couldnt find at whole foods or another grocery store chain that buys local. The place is cute though and I suppose if you have small children, its something to do on weekends.

Took grand kids, ages 15 months to 6 to visit Bedner's. Had a great petting facility with goats, pigs, sheep, and even a camel or two. Cost to get in is $5.00 for (I think) ages 5+. Seems a bit ridiculous, since no one expects adults to let the little ones in by themselves, yet we had to pay $5.... More

We went strawberry picking with our toddler and had great fun! She loved running around and helping to pick strawberries. They also had sunflowers and other produce for the "you pick" option. We went early to avoid the crowds. As we were leaving (around noon) it was definitely getting crowded. We had a chance to walk through the lovely store... More

We visited this small market twice, once this year and once the year before. Only went into the store, not into the fields. Found the selection of fruits and veggies to be good but on the pricey side. They really need to fix the store layout. The check-outs are not laid out very well - the one closest to the... More

I love shopping for produce here. Wide aisles. Always plentiful and fresh. Tomatoes especially are wonderful. They also have fresh squeezed OJ. Staff is friendly and helpful. Fast check out. Fair prices.
