Really awesome indoor play and educational area for my two year old. I think it would be great for ages 1-6/7? We just started going but are excited to attend some of the additional programs and events they host. It is a two story museum with 4-5 different themed areas. My toddler loved it. Something we could go to weekly and he would not get bored. We spent 2 hours there and he was having a wonderful time. Great, friendly staff. A gem for this area! I have a 6mo old as well. I would wear him in a cattier next time (I brought my stroller). It is all stroller accessible and there is stroller parking which is nice, but would definitely be easier to just wear him next time for moving around and chasing my toddler. We went on a Friday afternoon and it was no crowded at all. I imagine weekend of course would be a bit more crowded but totally worth it for the kids.

The historic atmosphere of this schoolhouse museum enhances the overall experience for adults and kids alike. My wife and I took our 14 month old, and he was able to engage in a variety of activities throughout the museum and had a blasr doing so! The massive playground outside near the entrance is under construction and looks as though it will be demolished, then rebuilt. Well, it should be at least.

This children's hands on museum is a lively fun place for children. My grandchildren enjoyed playing in the many ex hits, and loved story time which ended with an art activity for the children. The staff has helpful and curtious. Built in a older schoolhouse, the exhibits brought yester year to the excitement of the children. The cost of admittance is minimal for the hours children can enjoy here. Parking can be difficult as it is street parking, the lot and garage is reserved for law enforcement. We had to drive around the blocks several times to find a parking spot.

I have been to many children's museums and this is a sweet place for little ones. As a grandparent, I appreciate the fact that it is not huge and overwhelming. It's a perfect neighborhood nostalgic museum to visit for a hot or rain day.

We have been members at Schoolhouse Children’s Museum for a couple years and absolutely love it. I have three young children ages 6, 3, and 1 and they all find something to enjoy there! They offer great hands on classes that we have thoroughly enjoyed. We especially love the sensory class because my children get to play with so many different fun activities and I don’t have any mess to clean up at home!! They have updated and changed out some exhibits which has kept the museum fresh and fun! We recently had our baby’s first birthday there and everyone said it was a great party. We had kids ranging in age from 1 to 9 and every single one wanted to stay longer. The museum has great space and lots of exhibits for the price and it’s a wonderful place to spend the day. Definitely worth checking out if your in the area.

This place was tops for many years, but it’s slowly falling apart. Outside activities are being removed, and many of the inside ones stopped working.

My kids still had lots of fun, but I’m wondering how long until this place becomes a mess. It smelled really bad as well.

The play ground outside was our favorite part. Really big and fun. I wanted to like this place and had been looking forward to visiting it for some time being a local however I didn’t like that they charged for adults as well as children. The place was not clean and very disorganized. They should hire staff to walk around and try to keep toys in the right stations otherwise it’s just a big mess of random items thrown everywhere. I liked the fact that they had some historical aspects and it has potential but I expected a little more.
