There is something almost magical about wandering out onto the bay after dinner via the Bridge Street Pier. There's always a breeze and some great views of the waterway and its many boats. Have dinner first. Then spend some time on the Pier. You'll be...More

This is at the end of the Historic Bridge Street. It was a very nice pier with shaded benches. I love the clock tower and the view of the bay. If you are watchful, you can see manatees around the pier.

We enjoy strolling down this pier and looking at the sailboats. You can smell great food cooking from the restaurants nearby.

This was our second year on Anna,Maria Island but first time fishing off pier. You do not need a license to fish off pier and you can rent a pole for $8 a day and buy bait. We actually went three times. There are locals...More

We have loved fishing off the pier for years now but the whole area has been upgraded with fun stores lining Bridge Street. Be sure to stop!

This pier is the original only way on and off the island from the mainland. It was a wooden bridge with one way traffic (had to wait turns) to cross. Now a wonderful place to take in the view of Sarasota Bay, Cortez, nature's beauty,...More

A great walking destination at the end of Bridge Street on AMI. We walk there almost daily especially after dark. Love seeing the sailboats moored in the bay with lights on their masts, looking like stars in the dark sky. The wide lighted pier has...More
