We visit Troy about once every 2 years to go diving. In the late summer it is nice to head out to all of Florida's springs. The water is a cool 72 degrees year round and it keeps the area around it cooler also. The spring is anywhere between 80 and 65 feet depending on the local rains. The beach... More

this is a great spot to come and relax and enjoy the spring. The walk to the spring isn't far and the walkway is in great shape and not too steep. The spring is large and hasn't been crowded the times I have been. The remains of the ship in the spring run is interesting to investigate as well

My son and I like to explore the different springs in the summer and came upon Troy. It's a nice spring and the water feels colder than some of the others. Not a lot of beach area though and seemed to be a lot of trash. People are ridiculous and need to clean up after themselves!! It won't be enjoyable... More

May is dry right now, but everything is growing and blooming. Troy Spring is real popular with the wild life, everybody is coming down to have a drink. The birds are nesting. You can fish the river, snorkel the spring, have a picnic. Besides picnic tables they have a bathroom.

With with friends to see the spring on a cold winter day. Water was nice even though the air temp was in the low 50's. Park Ranger lady was super friendly and very informative about the Spring.

The park isn't that big- but worth the stop. My son snorkeled there and he had a great time. They have some picnic tables and a bathroom near the Spring. Sometimes there are quite a few people scuba diving.

Scuba divers from over the world come to this area. Several caves to explore. The water temperature stays at a comfortable 70 degrees year round.
