We visited the memorial and found it a fitting tribute to the mounties slain near Mayerthorpe. Unfortunately, the museum was closed due to the pandemic. It was worth seeing.

A very solemn place. Very quiet and right across from the RCMP station. Was a sad day when we lost those four officers. They will be forever remembered in Mayerthorpe.

Brought back memories of when it was in the news. Sad that such young men die just doing a job. Worth a stop just to thank the people that do their job every day

What a beautiful memorial to the four brave RCMP officers who were killed. Made me very grateful to have such dedicated people working so hard to protect the public. The information center had a lot of exhibits and information. A clean, and peaceful park.

This is an amazing memorial to these four brave Mounties. The park is so beautiful and so clean. But we were so disappointed the information center was not open. It said it would be open by 10am but we left just after 12 and it still was not open. One of our party came from Calgary and she was the most disappointed as she is not sure she will be back. Even so it was well worth the drive.
