This is an amazing geologic and geografic oddity, part of it sculpted by nature and much of it resculpted by man over two millennia. There appears to have been a path back into the mountain that was closed when we were there, saying it was too dangerous. We heeded the sign, although the temptation was great to explore the area further.…
