Nice sightseeing stop

Climbed to the top and the view was excellent. Very clean and relatively easy stairs to climb. The hostess was knowledgable and very friendly.

Museum is small, the lady working was not at all friendly. $5 per person to walk up the top of the lighthouse.

An easy to get to lighthouse with a different method of construction from many others, still external framework and central steel tube. The frame is tensioned with turnbuckles, interesting especially if you like lighthouses. One can climb if one is there at the right time and there is an interpretive exhibit and gift shop nearby on the grounds.

neat place with a typical gulf coast story. Grounds are sparse but the lighthouse is worth the visit.

We stopped to see this lighthouse. It has a lot of history for the area. Surprised to learn that it was operational until 1995. Decided not to climb it today. Worth seeing if you like lighthouses.

The lighthouse was decommissioned and all the buildings on the property were sold off. The lens in the lighthouse was replaced with a plastic replica. A small building was erected on site to show what the lightkeeper's house looked like. If you're in the area, stop by but don't go out of your way to go here.

We visited this skeleton lighthouse on a beautiful, clear, sunny day. The view from the gallery of the surrounding area was stupendous, making the climb up the circular stairway of over 120-steps well worthwhile.

This is near Carrabelle, very easy to get to. 200-ish steps, great view from the top, five dollars to walk it. If it was 100°, I'm not sure how much I would enjoy this. But the weather was lovely, the view was lovely, it was worth it.

This was not the kind of lighthouse we're accustomed to seeing which is why we were attracted to visiting. A film explains the history of the lighthouses that had been built prior to this one.
