We took the evening cruise. With the tarp rooftop and comfortable seats, the boat was just right for sightseeing. Captain Mike and his wife Sue made the cruise a pleasure. We saw the Crystal River Power Plant and clam farms in the distance. The boat glided by the island where Cedar Key was originally located as Sue gave us glimpses... More

We were in Cedar Key during one of their festivals - which are always well attended. After having lunch at Tony's (and don't miss that if you are there), we walked to the waterfront and decided to take a boat tour. We saw so many dolphin that we couldn't count them! Our boat captain certainly knew how to tease them... More

The island tour that runs daily at 11 am was the tour we took. The day could not have been more pleasant and the tour was more than expected. Connie provided a very entertaining and information packed speech for a good portion of the 2 hour tour. Questions were answered effectively and there was some input from the captain as... More

My husband enjoyed our time with Cpt. Mike & his wife. They gave us a beautiful and informative trip around the Keys...I have been enthralled with the mystery around Seahorse Key since. Out of all of our activities while getting away from it all...this was by far our favorite!!! Thank you both!

My wife and I were very pleased with our Cedar Key experience, particularly our enjoyable tour with Tidewater Tours. Both Captain Mike and Connie were a wealth of knowledge about this beautiful area. I definitely recommend taking this tour. They have an Island Tour, a Sunset Tour, and a Lower Suwannee River Tour...

Mike, the captain, and his wife gave us a very informative tour of some of the keys. While a lot of the nesting birds have abandoned Seahorse Key, we saw lots on Snake Key. The Roseate Spoonbills were a bonus. Some on the boat got off on the only key allowing humans and said the mosquitos were large enough to... More

We signed up for the Suwanee River Tour and were looking forward to the 3 hour tour. It really wan't a tour, we boarded the boat, helped get the Bimini top down to go under a bridge then set course for Suwanee. There was very little or no commentary/interaction. We motored to the Suwanee, filled up with gas at a... More

My husband surprised me with a visit to Cedar Key for a late birthday outing. We signed up for the 11 o'clock tour and then wandered around the shops for about 45 minutes. The shops have lots of interesting items and food and drinks for sale. There is quite a bit of remodeling going on, so there will be new... More

We took the island tour and enjoyed it so much that, two days later, we arranged for a drop off/ pickup at Atsena Otie Key. The National Wildlife Refuge is located on Atsena Otie along with a cemetery that was established in 1877, the remains of the Farber Cedar Mill and a beautiful beach. Our captains were knowledgeable about the... More
