Go early to beat the crowd but you will not be disappointed. It's so neat to see the animals up close especially if you have children who love to learn about animals like my daughter. It's a bit confusing to manuever through, but there is alot to see and the price you pay all goes to a good cause of... More

The reason I stopped by there was to see both Winter the tailless dolphin and Rufus the noisy pelican. Mission accomplished. Let's all go home now. But really, the museum was a little place with open air pens and construction going on outside the building. There was an option to go via bus or train to see the movie set... More

Save this place for a visit in 2017. It was a huge disappointment to arrive and find out that more than 75% of this place is currently under construction. The staff is super nice but they should not be charging full price. Yes, I realize that they are not for profit but we all still felt a bit ripped off.... More

We appreciate your visit to Clearwater Marine Aquarium very much! While we are certainly underway with our exciting expansion plan outside of the building, every one of our exhibits is still open for our visitors to enjoy. We appreciate your shout out to our amazing team - it's our goal to make sure our visitors enjoy learning about our resident... More

We visited the Clearwater Aquarium in November and enjoyed it very much. You must know it is more about the Dolphins then an Aquarium but it is worth the cost. The place is split in 2 areas and you can use the trolley or the water taxi to go between them. We used the water taxi which travels under the... More

A good place to see what can be done to help and rescue wildlife. The facility itself is a little worn out and lagged maintenance - especially the underwater area where you could hardly look through the dirty glass.

Thank you for visiting Clearwater Marine Aquarium! Our facility is a converted wastewater treatment plant that we've occupied since the 1970s, and while it has served us well, we're in the process of expanding and upgrading to provide even larger habitats for our resident animals and enhanced viewing for our visitors both above and below the water's surface. We hope... More

Admittedly we haven't seen the movie and the entire facility revolves around the Dolphin Tales movie. The facility is a working rescue location but more like a run down, desperately-needing-money facility. We did not see signage explaining the problem or solution to the dolphin's tail. If a docent talks to you--you get the explanation. A huge construction project is underway... More

We are sorry to see that Clearwater Marine Aquarium wasn't quite what you expected. Our current facility is a wastewater treatment plant that we've occupied since the 1970s, and while the building has served our purposes well, we recognize that it's time for some upgrades. We are very excited about our expansion project (which you referenced in your comment) as... More

We loved seeing Hope and Winter just as we expected to. We really enjoyed the turtles and rays. That was an unexpected treat.
