With hundreds of things to do on Clearwater Beach, the main attraction is still pretty much its near-perfect beach (USA Today readers voted Clearwater Beach "Best Beach Town in Florida" in 2013). Beautiful white sand and clear, shallow water make this beach an ideal playground for families.

Took a scooter ride out to Clearwater Beach. Very nice clean pink sandy beach with lifeguards and restrooms. At the far end is Gombey's bar and restaurant to take care of your food and drink needs. Playground equipment for the younger members of your party....More

Clearwater beach is one of the best white sand beaches on west coast of Florida. It is at a quick 1 hr 45 min drive from Orlando. Full day parking was at a reasonable price, tons of places to eat. Overall good family vacation spot.

White sand beach, warm water, not too crowded. Boat rides a bit expensive. We saw the dolphins at the beach rather.
