Overview
More
Come join us on a fun filled, narrated sightseeing tour of Clearwater's harbor. Enjoy a relaxing ride while you learn about our abundant wildlife, and view the area's dolphins in their natural environment. Every trip stops at Compass Island where you can collect shells, swim, snorkel and the kids can even hunt for treasure! Dolphin sightings are guaranteed*. Excursions depart from the Clearwater Beach Marina multiple times every day. Spend an hour and a half to an hour and forty five minutes with our highly trained crew in the Clearwater Harbor on board our 40 foot Coast Guard inspected excursion boat. For twenty to thirty minutes during your trip, the boat will stop at Compass Island where you will have the opportunity to shell hunt through thousands of shells, swim, snorkel (gear is provided) and enjoy the island. Our boats are available for charter as well. If you're looking for something more intimate with friends and family on the water we can accommodate. We have done weddings, rehearsal dinner socials, proposals, birthday parties, bachelor parties, anniversaries, school and church groups and family reunions.

The owner is somewhat pushy. BUT, other than that it was a fun ride. It was raining off and on (sometimes decently so) and the boat was nearly full. The First Mate was fun and knowledgeable. The little island we stopped at for shells was...More

We went at 11 am and seen quite a few dolphins. We stopped at an island to look for shells and they gave me gold coins to hide for my 4 year old to find and he was so excited, so that was a nice...More

I called ahead of time and they said no need to make reservations - when their website said reservations are needed. When we got there they had closed up. I called and they said they closed due to winds. So we went on another dolphin...More

We enjoyed our trip. We saw several pods of dolphins. The boat was good enough. Plenty of cover to stay out of the sun. A little dated for restrooms. The island was tiny. Lots of other small, personal boats were there. Seamed to be a...More

This was the second dolphin tour we have done from the pier. I rated both tours 5 stars but for different reasons. The first tour we did a couple years ago was with Little Toot. Little Toot did a better job than Encounters with Dolphins...More

If you want to experience a cruise on the inland waterway and spot the many dolphins that make the Clearwater area home, this is a very good option. They run about 3 excursions a day, and if you choose the last one, it usually couples...More

We did. We chose to go snorkling. But with that said, we were able to walk off the boat to the island for shelling without getting really wet. They pull up close and put out a ramp for you to walk off the boat. We got... More
