If you love history this is the place to visit. Had a great time, even with teenagers. Learned a lot about the White House. We could have spent more time there if we weren't a road trip. I'll definitely come back!

To get in the front door yes. It might B a little difficult once inside because of the gift shop aisles and the theater inside as well.
