This park has a roped off swimming area where manatees will come up and hang out with you. There is a nice playground, sandy beach, rest rooms, picnic tables...

I have lived in Crystal River 17 years now we always use to bring our kids to the park to enjoy ourselves in our small community then all of a sudden you have to pay a high price to go to most parks here in Crystal River, this is not right that we have to pay $7.00 just to put... More

A beautifully done park. Beautiful, clear water. Well kept and very clean. The scenery couldn't be better!

The improvements in this park are nice. Great boardwalk over the water. Would be a great place to view manatees. Unfortunately we were there during low tide. So check the tide before you visit for best viewing. The springs are a good place to swim.

We learned from some local folks this park just reopened and was completely revamped. Once we arrived, we noticed the parking seems rather limited for such a great highlight of Crystal River. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the small public beach and the walkway out over the water. Two kayakers were there and we noticed their access to... More

Stopped in Crystal River to spend the night. Biz road trip. Asked hotel staffer about a good place to walk. She drew me a map and I walked to the park. What a shock, kayakers, walkers, little beach, bike trail. Makes me want to come back and put a canoe in as the locals were talking about manatees in winter.

It was nice to see such an improvement with all the sandy areas BUT they planted many, many palm trees that will take YEARS to be any sort of shade tree. The whole park is in full sun and needs to have some shade trees for comfort.

I look forward to seeing the renovations. It's nice to have springs in the area, but it did need a face lift. Great place to lay out and enjoy the sun. The water is super cold, but refreshing.
