Good location fire sunset view. Less crowded. We enjoyed the spring break evening here. Drive is not bad. Single lane but not much traffic.

We enjoyed visiting this beach and wish we would have had more time to enjoy it. The sand was comfortable to walk on. Even though there were many people around, there was still a lot of nature to see. There seemed to be a good amount of parking available but we were there in the late afternoon. There is fishing... A nice sandy beach can be hard to find for out-of-staters who are not staying at Gulf-side lodging. I was staying at Cedar Key, and visited this area, finding this particular beach by accident. Considering what a nice beach it was, it was not crowded. I had no trouble parking in the limited spaces available.

Small beach with not much going on. A few BBQ pits and picnic tables. Not too far of a drive from town.

The beach and the area in general had some evidence of the hurricane Mathew (perhaps?) . A few boards were missing off some of the board walks. So it... More

Our family of five spent most of the day here-played in the ocean and brought a picnic lunch. Great family environment!

Drove to the beach late in the day, a nice drive. We walked the beach and boardwalk and waited for the sunset. Worth the drive. Beach and bathroom was clean.

Thank Chris H
