Overview
More
Swim alongside the gentle giants with daily tours going out every morning. $65 per person includes all equipment, 5mm wet suits, mask, snorkel, towel service, hot chocolate, coffee, hot showers, and heated changing facility with no parking fees! Ask about our private tours as well. Crystal River offers the best location to see and interact with the Florida manatee, a subspecies of the West Indian manatee, also known as gentle giants. Unlike other areas of Florida, the Federal Government allows for "passive observation" in the water between manatees and people in Kings Bay. This allows face-to-face interaction with manatees. We provide pre-tour education on passive observation and how to get the best experience during the tour.

Dustin and Jason were nice and relaxed the whole time. They got the loveliest pictures of my boyfriend and I swimming with the manatees and showed us more of all the wildlife that were hidden, like crabs! Thank you for making this a highlight of...More

Captains John and Jason were great. They worked well together and even with other tours to ensure that everyone was able to swim with as many manatees as possible. We had a great time and will definitely suggest this tour to others in the future.

Captains Dustin and Memphis were the best; they provided a truly unbelievable experience. We saw several Manatees and even saw a cow with her calf. We were able to be right next to these amazing creatures. We saw them breach, feed, swim and come up...More

Second time doing the manatee tour. Took my son this time and we both were very pleased. The guides are professional and fun. They do everything they can to provide a great experience and interaction with a few manatees. Highly recommend!

We have done the tour in July and March, late winter and the March excursion was far better. The inner river water is much warmer than the outer and manatees we’re in abundance. They snuggled up to us face to face and would... More
