Flat and easy, this is suitable for all ages and hiking abilities. I thought seeing so many armadillos along the path was cute... until I read that there has been a leprosy outbreak in Florida that is likely tied to spitting armadillos. Be careful out there!

This is an easy walk on groomed paths. There are signs explaining trees plants and ground cover. A nice place quiet and peaceful but there are mosquitos.

This is a 2 mile well maintained flat trail. Excellent for people who have some difficulty with gain. There is an outhouse at the beginning/end of the trail and benches along the way to rest or enjoy nature.

The EcoWalk Trail at Crystal River Perserve State Park is about 2 miles of easy flat walking. The trail surface is mowed grass or needles with a few rough spot where the hogs have rutted. Along the trail you pass through several different micro-climates which are well marked and well presented. This is a nice place for a quick nature... More

We explored the 2-mile Eco-Walk though forest hammocks, passing two ponds and marshy areas. The path was mostly cut grass, easy to traverse, it was quiet and we enjoyed seeing the flora of the woods. A woodpecker tapped on a tall palm, Spanish moss draped from oak branches and Florida holly 'trees' had bright red berries. We saw a few... More

We really enjoyed hiking here and were happy we could bring our dogs. Two mile hike or so, plenty of variety and well kept trails.

Nice hike but only a mile or two. Easy on foot and mostly shaded if the sun's too hot. Ends at a long boardwalk. It's a loop trail so you don't have to take same path back.

Not a very well known park. It is a nice walk thru the woods with placards describing some sights Haven't seen much wildlife, but the plants are interesting. .
