If you are looking for an overly sophisticated zoo, this isn't your stop. If you are looking for a small town feel and want to see a small zoo off of the beaten path, then this is the place. We had a great time. We...More

This was a great place to see animals, encounter animals and feel not like your at a Disney-type attraction. Don't make the journey if you're looking for a polished environment. This is the real deal. The animal encounters were the turning point. The tram ride...More

YouTube videos from Peta with footage of the way they actually treat these poor animals when paying customers aren't around. Very sad and disturbing. These are wild animals, not playthings for tourists. It's upsetting to the tigers to be manhandled indiscriminately all day long and...More

Dade City's Wild Things is a small zoo. I enjoyed the jungle trek tour, it was more personal with a small group of people. The animals responded well to us, very relaxed. The enclosures were on the small side, but very clean with ample sunlight,...More

I found the whole experience disturbing. The whole place is basically small cages in woodland. One cage had 2 tigers in it, another cage had a hose pipe threaded through the top of the cage, for water. This cage was not even in the shade.The...More

I was hoping for the best after reading mixed reviews, I'm from a small town and feel like in general I'm pretty open to small town attractions and small town quirks. Upon arrival at the "office" where you go to buy tickets, check-in, etc. I...More

When my daughter asked to pet/hold a tiger for her Birthday, this seemed like their perfect place. It was that and so much more! I wish I remembered the names of our tour guide (we took the tram tour) and the girl who brought out...More

I'm shocked at how many people seem to celebrate the abuse that takes place here. Baby tigers are being churned out so that tourists can have something to brag about. I really hoped for better, but it's impossible to ignore the facts.

If you want the most honest review here it is Most of the bad reviews on here are by PETA or other organizations that are against any type of animal interactions with humans, and would rather the animal be dead then here. I loved this...More

Clearly the responders to my comment work at Wild Things. They are as ignorant on social media as they were when we were at the park.

HOW just HOW are there so many positive reviews and the only negative ones I see are because the rude staff?? I've seen none about how the animals are treated and how uneducated people are especially about this specific location. Educate yourselves before you POUR your money into so a HORRIBLE PLACE

No, but the animals are in such small cages, they constantly pace which is a sign of stress. There are many other accredited animal rescues that let them live in very large areas, provide them with stimulating toys, and... More

Why do you exploit baby animals to people who have trust enough to assume they are well taken care of? These animals are not meant to stripped from their mothers and forced to be a show doll.
