Flamingo Gardens exceeded our expectations today. The place was amazingly beautiful and we learned a lot on the 30 min. tour. Staff in the gift shop was friendly and knowledgeable.

The summer camps usually leave by noon but they do not interrupt the peace of our other visitors. The summer camps are all led by our education team. They do not wander by themselves.

You can do it on a rainy day but it won't be nearly as enjoyable. I would hold off and pick a day without rain in the forecast. It's pretty much all outdoors and rain would really "dampen" the experience.
