This is a park with boat ramp access with onsite parking. There is a memorial of an old metal bridge that has been replaced by a normal one.

We camped here for three nights in conjunction with a Florida Trail conference. The campground is great. Lots of shade, clean, clean facilities, hookups, etc. BUT the campground is situated near the interstate, near a busy freight train artery, near the flight path for the Sanford airport, and across from a major electrical generating station. Tough 1st night....noise cancelling earplugs... More

This place has two launches to launch your watercraft for a small fee. Plenty of bathrooms and parking. A few BBQ pits if you wanted a picnic. Fishing access is decent with a handicapped accessible pier. Only thing that really bites around there is panfish and catfish. The only gripe I have is boat traffic and theres lots of it.... More

We bike the trail from DeBary to Lake Monroe Park and it is a beautiful spot on the St. Johns with good ramps to launch your boat and stop for a picnic also.

I've only used this park for launching a trailered boat (23' Hurricane) and to use the rest room facilities. This is a well-maintained park with camping facilities on the east side. It also has a running/bike trail on the east side with convenient water fountain and rest room facilities on the east side for trail-end users. Spacious boat ramp areas,... More

I stopped at Lake Monroe Park Campground for a night on my way to Disney's Fort Wilderness campground. $22 a night for water & electric. Just off exit 104 of I-4 puts it about 40 miles from the Fort. Lake Monroe Park Campground offers Water/Electric campsites. 25 sites in one loop. Packed sand/ gravel road and sites. A dump station... More

Great place to stop in with your RV!! Spots tucked away in the woods. Bring your boat and launch it, or just sit and watch folks come/go on the waterway! Tables and pavillions for lunch and parties and family gatherings. Dump Station for Rigs if you need one $5 to use. Not sure if they charge for putting your boat... More

Campsites are nice and vary in size. Shower house is different, bathrooms are located in shower room. Pressure is low, no ventilator, no benches to put stuff on. Park was very full, tons of boat ramp and parking. No fireworks allowed in Park. Could hear them in the distance. Park was over all quiet.
