Gary Bucovnik's floral watercolors are showing at the DeLand Museum of Art DeLand FL at 600 N. Woodland Blvd. I have admired his work for 30 years. While in town for an Anniversary get away I was delighted to see that his work happened to be in DeLand! I was not disappointed. The Museum visit with Bukovnik's artwork, titled Flower... More

I call this a two part Museum as the initial part is small and has several featured artists. Then you go down the same street to the other section in downtown Deland. This location was the best for me as it featured life size watercolor art of David Remfry. Stunning huge watercolors in a large collection. Also, to top it... More

We were faced with time constraints and had but a short time in town prior to a Stetson Museum tour. Loved our short visit to shop, walked out with several reasonably priced items we had never seen offered at such a store. Really worth a look when in town.

for 3 years in Deland, I drove by this place everyday to go to Stetson, and every time I thought this place is cool and I need to visit one day. Never did...Then after school I started painting with soft pastels and colored pencils, and all my friends were saying I should sell those lol. Finally I got a chance... More

We have a family membership to the Museum and go there frequently. They bring in new exhibits on a regular basis - always good. We have also taken workshops there. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable

Many have said that this is one of DeLand's hidden gems and a national treasure. I certainly agree. The quality of the exhibits just keeps getting better and better. How does little town support such stunning art? Keep it up, MOART-DeLand and I will keep coming back.

On 17-92 in Deland, Fl., which changes from a typical Florida nowhere-highway into a beautiful small college town street right before your eyes. Museum and annex pack several well curated and inspiring shows into one brief and convenient visit. NYC quality art experience with friendly people and no crowds. Go!!!

We visited the Museum of Art for the first time after having driven down Woodland Boulevard for years and years. This really is a hidden gem in Deland, as we were among only approximately 2-4 other patrons visiting the museum in the 2.5-3 hours we spent here a past Thursday afternoon. The museum is comprised of 2 stories (elevator and... More

It was with delight I visited the Museum of Art DeLand. They actually have 3 venues: A gallery and gift shop at 100 N Woodland Blvd, two floors of galleries and a store featuring local, consigned art at 600 N Woodland Blvd, and the Jackson Walker historical Florida series "Legendary Florida" on display in the rotonda at the Historic Courthouse,... There are two museums with 5 exhibits. It was an absolute pleasant surprise. The exhibits were all by major artists. Who knew?
