This is nicely planned park with trails that wind through woodland areas on a level path that bicycles and foot traffic can use. There are picnic areas and restrooms and a connector to the main trail system that will take you all the way past Blue Springs State Park in Orange City. This is a great place for a picnic... More

I lead flexible bike rides here frequently. We start on the two mile paved route and then continue on to Blue Springs State Park (2.8 miles) and beyond. The restrooms are always clean and the trail is always cleared quickly, even after storms. At Blue Spring the trail has just been extended for another couple of miles under the tunnel.... More

I have encountered deer turtles and snakes. It's a wonderful way to get in touch with nature. The attendant who maintains our bathrooms and empties our trash should be complimented for a job well done. I love this park so much, on my first walk I hiked all the way to blue springs and back. A wonderful experience.

I got to the walking trail a few times a week and it's very nice, but there was a body found in the middle of the wooded area, so I'm not sure if I will be coming around so often. Just watch out for wild life if you do go.

This is the first bike trail I have found that I love since moving away from the Cady Way Bike Trail in Winter Park. I love the shady trail with lots of wildlife to see while walking or riding my bike. It has a small trail that circles around the restrooms, picnic area and playground. Great for small kids to... A plethora of trials of different terrains. Has a playground too. Other nice places for options to hike nearby: Saint Francis and Hontoon. Enjoy.

I bike here every day now! It is great. However, you have to watch out for children and dogs and adults who don't observe safety common sense rules (like being on one side of the path & their dog on the other with the leash stretched across the path!!!), especially on weekends, and black bears near the turn around in... Not so amazing for tourists. It's a nice spot but not worth making a special trip. The walking loop is not on the lake and you can hear traffic off the main Rd when you're walking. The access to the lake is also average. I have found much nicer spots around.

Beresford Park has both a loop and a wide biking/walking trail that goes all the way to Blue Spring State Park. The paths are wide, smoothly paved, and mostly in the shade of a gorgeous tree canopy. I've seen many types of birds, butterflies, turtles and other wildlife. It's quiet and serene, and has basic services like restrooms and drinking... More
