Okay. So we are two artists from Gloucester, MA,another great art destination! My fiance and I are on the only vacation we will have this year. We spend so little time together. We enter The Blue Gallery and the attendant takes my fiance's side and never let's go! She begins to explain the entrance art in detail...artists from Israel. She talks incessantly. She directs her speech to the left ear of my man. I am standing to his left and am now virtually left out of the conversation. I am forgetful so was wondering if I had signed up for a walking tour/lecture. But I know I would never do that. This gallerist hijacked my highly anticipated quality gallery time with my husband to be. We were trying to spend time together. So I left the two of them and then called my man over to see a particilular painting. This attendant actually would not let me talk to him. She stood in front of the piece and began to break down its components...when all I wanted to point out was how smartly it was wrapped to ship...being an artist/handling expert myself. She really gave us a bad first-impression of gallery attendants here in Delray. I regret not interrupting her from the time we walked in. In hindsight, I should have expressed my confusion and told her..."I don't think we signed up for The Blue Gallery Abnoxious Walking Tour." It was very difficult to explore the art with her non-stop critiques in which we never asked. We were somewhat relieved to return to the free world just outside of this overbearing environment. We never visited the sister gallery for fear we would have another bad gallery experience. The artists deserve a better representation of their hard work.I have never experienced this sort of agressive approach as a guest. She actually asked us if we were there to buy or browse. I told her I wasn't sure as I was worried about catching our private jet flight home in one hour.

Enjoyed walking around both sides of this gallery. The staff was courteous and friendly even though I think it was obvious I was not in the market for a piece of art. (on that particular day.)

Many beautiful, but expensive, artworks. The people helping us were friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy. I ended up going back and buying a piece as a wedding present. it was shipped on time and without damage. I will go back.

We stop by the Blue Gallery almost every time when we're strolling down Atlantic Avenue in the evening. We haven't purchased anything (yet!) but hopefully will one day. Its a perfect part of the experience of "The Avenue".

This gallery has been here for several years now and there are some rather interesting works of art available for purchase.

We were dining in Delray beach last Saturday night and stopped in for a good while at this beautiful art gallery. They had a very eclectic mix of art, mostly modern, by a number of different artists. We especially liked the bulldogs by Marc and Matt Lipp as well as the colorful paintings by Sveta Esser. The friends we were with were very drawn to the art work of Calman Shemi whose lacquer paintings really spoke to them. The staff on duty were delightful and we were very tempted with a number of the paintings and sculptures on display there.
