This stretch of beach is terrific. Hasn't seen crowded any of the numerous times of the year that we've visited. Typically, good for sea beans. Chairs and umbrella rentals available. Lifeguard stationed. Public restrooms and showers. Sadly the once nice picnic pavilion was lost to a fire and has yet to be replaced. Metered parking across the street.

Atlantic Dunes is great because its slightly quieter than the beach by Atlantic. There are also two small parking lots across the street where you can pay with a credit card. There are restrooms here as well as a "boardwalk" leading to the beach.

Parking in 2 small lots across the road. Pay for parking with coins or credit card (cost us $2 for an hr). People come and go so if no spaces keep checking back. Walk to beach and look for Oceanside Beach Service person walking around and rent 2 chairs with umbrella for $10/hr. Bathrooms and shower for washing off available.... More

Spent a few minutes minutes in the area. The wife wanted to walk in the Atlantic Ocean. This place was well suited for her. Veranda on the street to clean the sand after walking about 50 yards to the water across clean sand. Being this was done Monday early afternoon, no crowds, ocean calm, waves small-rolling. A pleasant visit.

The nicest part of this was the beautiful forest walk. The beach itself is beautiful like most Florida beaches, just wholly unremarkable.

While it's right down the street (a mile or so) from the main beach this is the one to hit...while not across from the restaurants, etc. it's a lot less crowded...you can drive up to the handicapped area and drop off and then go back to the parking lot to park. Parking is better here than on the street as... More

The beach is clean and has bathroom and shower facilities. Parking is inexpensive and metered. There are boardwalks leading up to the beach as well as handicap parking.

Always a pleasure and away from the crowds, usually there is a space in the parking area across the street for a fee. Some handicap spots right in the beach side, but you need a plate or placard to park in the H spots. Full amenities with outside shower, bathrooms, benches under the cover of a roof. Then the quitter... More
