A wonderful garden to spend the day, walking through or choose a bench and sit for awhile. Simply beautiful, restful and relaxing. I highly recommend this garden for a day trip and can't wait to go back to experience one of their fests.

Morikami is a gem in Delray Beach. I've watched it transform over many years and the museum and gardens continue to get better and better. It is a marvelous place for special occasion photos as well. The festivals are fun and very well attended. Great historical accounting of Yamato and the surrounding area.

A marvelous getaway for a half day away from the sand and crowds. Beautifully maintained gardens with water features and freshwater turtles and koi. Historic notes. So nice to have an outdoor activity that provides shade and beauty in a not so beautiful part of Florida. Excellent food at the cafe. Interesting museum shop. Beautiful art exhibit inside the main... These beautiful, peaceful gardens are filled with statues, flowers, fish, ponds, waterfalls and trees that wend their way along a mile or so path. There are plenty of wonderful spots to sit and relax and contemplate. There is also a wonderful gift shop in the main building.

The Japanese fare was perfect and the stroll around the gardens mesmerizing. We live 15 minutes away but only seem to go when guest are in town. My New Years resolution is to go 4 X a year.

The Morikami Gardens are beautiful, relaxing, serene, and easily traversed for all ages. I live in the area and have been multiple times and always leave wishing I visited more often. I personally think that adults will enjoy the visit more without children who may want to rush through. Nature lovers will enjoy the slow paced surroundings which is amazing... More

Visited the Gardens shortly after we landed in Florida. What a way to zen out after the hustle and bustle of a flight. A beautifully laid out garden that encourages one to take time to enjoy the plants in thoughtful contemplation. Pretty sculptures, places to rest, bridges, trees and flowers. Even some water stations with icy cold water. A wonderful... More

We are a fan of gardens and have seen plenty. This went beyond being " a garden " and instead was an experience of beauty, culture and history The gardens themselves were magnificent; perfectly groomed and incorporating all the aspects of a Japanese Garden. The sounds of the bamboo grove moving in the wind was worth the price of admission.... More

A rare treat in tropical south Florida. The gardens are well maintained and the shop and food are reasonably priced. A great place to take out of state visitors.
