It has normal Florida beach traffic, not to crowded. We had a lot of fun. Very clean. I wish there were restaurants with beach access.

If you take Gulf shore drive to the end there is public parking. You can walk to beach and some of jetties. Water is shallow and great for small children. Snorkeling was a good experience for children here.

This place used to be great - 30 years ago. It still is if you're there off season. There are wonderful swimming areas for kids so it's safe that way and the sand cliffs are fun for the kids to run up and down. /Good...More

We stayed in the Jetty East right on the beach. Storms had moved through overnight while we were there so the water was a bit choppy, but the emerald color was beautiful and the sand was too! We walked down to the jetty to snorkel...More

This may be one of the best places in Destin. Not too crowded and the sand is like walking on air. Don't forget your sunscreen though!

Greate clean wide beach, there is a pool as well and place to go fishing of shore. We caught red fish by the jetty.

For some of the chair rentals you had to be a guest at one of the resorts on the beach, however I believe anyone could go to the beach. Since we stayed at the Jetty East we had access to a gated parking garage. I'm not... More

I think technically the beach is open to the public as there is public access further up Holiday Isle in the residential area. However, the condo access is restricted to the guests. There are no barriers on the beach for... More
