For over 35 years, the Dunedin Fine Art Center (DFAC) has been offering exciting art opportunities in a most welcoming kind of way. St. Petersburg Times writer Lennie Bennett says that DFAC is “the artistic equivalent of a village square,” offering quality experiences to people of all ages. DFAC offers year-round exhibitions in four galleries featuring national, regional and local artists. Classes for students 4 yrs. to 97 yrs. fill 15 studio classrooms and a changing yearly theme makes the David L. Mason Children’s Art Museum a hands-on experience not to be missed. You can take some time to enjoy a delicious lunch or gourmet coffee in the Palm Café, or search out one-of-a-kind gifts in the Gallery Gift Shop. Come out and PLAY at the Dunedin Fine Art Center and see why people say it’s where the ART is!

The art center offers classes and lectures. There is a museum where you can view outstanding art work. And, on the third floor you can see student art work which is excellent. There is a small cafe and there you can order interesting sandwiches and desserts.

We visited this center to see first-hand what they have to offer. It is mainly for artists who want to improve their talents and learn from others. It appears most classes are free. The work that is on display inside and out is cute. Our visit cost us nothing, and we enjoyed the stop. The center is right beside Highlander... More

This beautiful gallery has a quaint old world café with specials by Chef Stephen. We enjoyed the panini well prepared with sides. Others had the Jambalaya. The chef turns everything into good eating, The browse the gallery and all its special items. The holiday's are the perfect time with all the special trees.

I grew up in Dunedin and always remember going here with my Mom when she would take pottery or painting classes. The exhibits always had interesting displays, a few of which I remember to this day. It has a nice free gallery with talented local artists, a must see if you are into art!
