Like history...be sure to stop here. The old station/museum is being restored and expanded. Stop here to get the flavor of Dunedin (old and new) and to see the city's origins.

A quaint local historical society. Nothing fancy but you get a nice overview of the history of the area and the changes over the years

We took my 89 yo mother over the Christmas holidays. We all enjoyed seeing the old photos and some antiques from that era, The museum volunteers were very friendly & knowledgeable. Treat yourself to some local history!

Very small, but nicely done museum of Dunedin history covering it's origin of orange juice concentrate. Modest fee of $3 per person to explore. Nice staff.

Per the website it costs $3, open Tues-Sat 10-4. If you're thinking of going during a holiday or such, probably wouldn't hurt to give them a call to confirm. Go to the home > contact us page on their museum home page.
