Very busy quite hard to find a place to park There is a charge to park. Lots of shells and sharks teeth. Enough sand to enjoy.

Nice clean beach with restroom facilities. Need to get there early since parking ($ 3.00 honor system) is limited to about 80 to 90 cars. There is a 1.3 mile trail that runs from the main building to the end of the peninsula which has many photographic opportunities. You can return via the same path or you can go back... More

We did not last long at the beach as the red tide was bad that day and has been other days lately. Also, the bathrooms have been under renovation for two years now--seems like they could figure out how to fix them by now. Porta-a-potty's are not nice to use

Our rental was half a mile from this beautiful park -- which was good, because the parking lot is often full. There is a lovely 2.3 mile trail to the end, with the ocean visible on one side and Lemon Bay on the other. Quite a few boaters come to the Lemon Bay side to fish and hang out on... More

The best beach in the area as far as I am concerned. It is a little further out than the main Englewood beach so does not get as crowded. The car park is very small so you do have to wait at peak times but it is well worth it. The walk along the beach and back along the nature... More

A nice long walk on a sandy path with Lemon Bay on one side and the Gulf on the other. We had a picnic, fished, walked along the shore looking for shells and relaxed in the sun. This is a great place to spend an afternoon!

Wonderful walk on a sandy trail. Great scenery and not a whole lot of people. Great shells on the beach!

Beautiful beach. There are walking trails that lead to the other side of this penninsula. Small parking lot, so if lot is full, park rangers will line up waiting cars until spot opens up. This was very helpful. The sunset was breathtaking.
