Great small park with a boat ramp

Great little park with BB Que grills and covered picnic tables. There is a large covered area that can hold large groups and some people come and play music. We went on SUPs and had a blast. Great for beginners because the water is calm.

If you are in the area, stop by for a quick visit and learn some history about Lemon Bay and the American Indians.

My boys loved looking for shells at Indian Mound Park. There isn't much "beach" area, but I would recommend stopping by. The sunset was incredible.

I have found that my favorite place in Englewood is Indian Mound Park. At the end of busy day I can count on taking a chair and a book and relaxing near the water. No parking problem, no lines to wait in to pay fees and no noisy tourists. Someday I might even see a manatees.

There are events here from time to time, but there isn't much here. f you are looking for a scenic park, this is not it. Mostly a boat launch and a shelter house.

This is a nice little park with a boat ramp, plenty of parking, a shelter with restrooms and a historical significance to the area. Usually few folks there. Covered picnic tables are on the very South end of the park along with great views of Lemon Bay. There is some signage to read also. Nice place to bring a meal... More

A no thrills park with a great view of the water. You can picnic, rent a canoe, fish, or launch a boat. Not very crowded during the peak season here in Florida.

Very busy on a sunny day in February. Boat launch was full as were the fishing piers. It was hard to find a parking spot. Very popular spot on a warm day.

The location of this park is nice, overlooking Lemon Bay. There is no fee to enter, and there are a few picnic tables / pavillions for use. The best part is the sunset over Manasota Key. It appears they may have kayaks to rent here, although it was later in the day when I arrived, so I did not actually... More
