As far as area beaches, this is not one of the top3 on the list. The sand is nowhere near the caliber of Siesta beach or even Nokomis. There is a big drop off into the water, whereas in other area beaches there is a gradual decline. The beach is one of the least crowded in the area on an... More

One of the best ways to enjoy the beautiful Manasota beach is to come to a Yoga session. Our family vacations yearly at Manasota Key. We love it! Nice, quiet, very clean beaches. We love searching for shark teeth on the beach!

I've never been to this beach and it was crowded. It is quiet and peaceful. And while they tout Casperson as the sharks tooth capital, you can find some larger teeth here!

Went walking on Mannasota key beach with Mrs. J where we found sharks teeth and enjoyed splashing on the oceans edge. This is a nice time of year before the snow birds descend en masse

One of our favorite beaches. Lots of sharks teeth, not always super crowded and its very close to my family. We love it here and the kids do too.

A short drive from Englewood Beach we explored and also enjoyed the more populated Manasota Key Beach. There were more people but the beach is gorgeous with staffed life guard stations at regular intervals for those folks who wish to play beyond the surf.

Manasota Beach is a place to go for finding Shark teeth. It is almost impossible not to see any. There is also Manasota Beach Yoga which is for all abilities and ages all you have to do bring a blanket and join. The sand might not be as white and fine as on Siesta Key Beach but the very natural... More
