large park with wildlife?, you may walk for hours, we did it over 1 1/2 hours and have seen 3 turtles, one snake and a few butterflys. Trees, bushes that's it.

You can even walk your (leashed) dog here. A 2 mile hike in a tended natural setting is restorative.

The area is nice if there isn't any red tide, but red tide has been in here and all areas around here. The smell is going inland 4 miles

Tucked away in beautiful Englewood spend a quiet afternoon walking the trails and admiring the water view. Spy a turtle, Bald Eagle, lizard, birds and fish! Great fun for the kids. Bring a picnic lunch or BBQ they have facilities for both.

This park has a 2 mile loop trail good for walking and jogging. There are frequently other walkers including couples and people with well behaved dogs on leashes.

If you haven't yet been, yes, the park is dog friendly. You must keep your dog on a 6' or shorter lead, and of course clean up as needed.
