Great place for the whole family. Lots of interesting things to see. You get out in nature and see everything. All kinds of birds and plants.

Walking paths, an Eagle's nest along the way, and an interesting museum to help understand the environment in this area. Guided walks and wading adventures are sometimes often. Check the website for a schedule of activities.

We stopped in here to walk the trails and got so much more! They have a museum FULL of things to touch and see! Local Wildlife, sea shells, birds, turtles, snakes! Not love of course! Just a great place to be able to touch things...More

we stumbled upon this park off of Placida Rd. It has an interesting building from the early 1900's and a nature center. Trails take you into the Florida untouched Jungle Love it.

We often visit cedar point park. It is a relaxing walk and nice and quiet. Lots of birds and pleasant paths. Ample parking and east to get to.

Very boring trip. Short trails through pine thickets to the bay. There is a bald eagles nest but little more on this property. If you have never walked through a Florida wilderness before then maybe this is interesting but if you have, then don't waste...More

There are easier places to do that. One is just north of the bridge before Rotonda West Boulevard, south of Oyster Creek about 3 or 4 miles.
