We took the walk on Sunday morning and really enjoyed the happy family atmosphere and various attractions. We will certainly return and the next time we will take a picnic!

We didn't walk the whole thing, but we did a good portion of it. It was nice and cool and somewhat shaded area right next to the river, obviously. It is also very close to Los Olas Blvd. So, you are close to drinking, dining...More

A nice path along the river, close to Las Olas Blvd. You can cool off in the shops and bars, but also pick up the water taxi from the stops.

You can walk it or take the free riverwalk water shuttle to meander through the downtown area. Lots of cool places to eat. Flat and quiet. Somewhat shaded

The riverwalk area is a nice combination of views, eateries, and park like setting. A nice place to visit if you have time before a flight. There is free shuttle service from the Riverwalk to and from the Airport.

Lovely meandering walk by the river with plenty to see in the way of boats and river life. Nicely planted with shrubs and plants, plenty of seating and sculptures. Restaurants and bars easily available.

The Riverwalk area was a central place to visit at one time, but now it is just a shell of its former self with a lot of empty shops and no real reason to go there. Fort Lauderdale is going to have to step up...More

I'm not really the sort of person who prefers to be in a crowd, so this place is perfect for me. Grab a cup of coffee or something, pull up a chair and watch the yachts pass by. Beautiful place to sit and relax!

starting from the train tracks it's the best place to skate downtown, a friendly mixture of tourist and impromptu musical performances by homeless people, pass historical landmarks and tourist traps all tucked away in florida's boat capital along the new river.

Not sure; There are bricks on the walkway everywhere with names on them. A great walk right to the end. Bring your camera and sit in the massive Adirondack Chair and have your picture taken. It's hilarious.
