Unfortunately many of the exhibits, like the Mars Rover, weren't working. We were planning to spend most of the day but only stay 2.5 hours. My 6 and 8 year-olds enjoyed the dig and the working model airplanes but as noted above many exhibits weren't working. The Broward Schools had a teachers' planning day so there were many children.

If you love science and family fun or just being a kid, you must visit. The Imax is great and there is something for everyone.

I brought my seven and ten year old grandkids to the museum and I was pleasantly surprised at the great time both had. They particularly enjoyed the hands on activities. While the museum ls not very large, the kids needed about three hours to go through the entire museum and be satisfied. The museum is well planned out and it... More

Real discovery granddaughters love the place. Decor is modern plenty of concessions, restrooms, exhibits. The staff is good, the granddaughters however want to go in different directions. Kylie wants the jets and the hurricane display, while Kaitlyn is more interested in the aquarium and the otters. Thank goodness for IMAX where we got a compromise.

No real hands on exhibits for little ones. Everything is at the height of children at least 3 years old. Was told the Discovery Center had things for her but not really. My granddaughter loves water and there a great water play section but even the steps only brought her up to her forehead. I tried holding her up but... More

From the otters in the aquarium to the fighter jets (small size for kids to fit in), hurricane display, cloud making machine, IMAX theater- this is fun for kids and gets them for interested in science plus they have fish aquariums, turtles.

Place is huge. Has IMAX and live animals. Bathrooms are nice. Food like subway and Pizza Hut on premise. Has outdoor seats and tables so if you bought your own food, you are good to go. There's an awesome breakfast and lunch place right on the corner called OB...place has HUGE portions of food and no tipping on the bill... More
