I have swam quiet a few camps at the swimminng hall of fame. The first time was in the late 70's and the many more times after. The pool is the greatest venue for any aspiring swimmer.

I have a competitive swimmer who thoroughly enjoyed her time visiting. We were in the area for vacation and decided to go for her benefit. It was great looking at the history of great swimmers across the board. As a swimmer myself, it was nice...More

Go to dive on the 1 meter and 3 meter boards on weekdays 11:30 am to 1 Pm. If your kids have never been on a diving board this is fun. You can swim laps next to divers. It is being redone soon so this...More

This Hall of Fame was good for my son to see because he is into swimming, however it is old looking in the one part we were aloud to go and see. The museum itself was under reconstruction and we were told that they might...More

It's not the most luxurious experience in swimming but you can't beat the experience for the history of swimming greats of Johnny Weissmuller, Esther Williams, Mark Spitz and the like. They are moving to California so no updates have been made to the pool but...More

This place is old , ugly and disapoint of all point of view. In the 21 century , this place still up because there is no money for renovation and so stay the fame from the old time and nothing else.

I swam competitively growing up, but I never learned so much about the history of swimming and equipment until I visited this museum. I did find the video highlights to be US centric. Wish there would have been a bit more on swimming highlights for...More

Our 7 1/2 year old daughter has been taking swimming lessons here since she was 2 years old. Excellent instructors! Only criticism is the facilities definitely need updating. It is definitely a "landmark" in Florida!

Our Water Taxi deckhand told us that this attraction will relocate to California soon. It was an interesting display about the history of swimming, with a room devoted to Olympic memorabilia. Lots of stuff on Greg Spitz, Michael Phelps, Johnny Weissmuller, and the like. They...More

I really enjoyed this museum. They have the history of everything related to swimming (swimsuits, famous swimmers, equipment, etc). I appreciated how the museum covered the history of many different categories (race, gender, religion, etc). I walked away with so much knowledge and questions that...More

Yes, it's open on Sunday if there is not a swimming event going on. There is a charge to swim anytime unless you are a resident of Ft. Lauderdale. I would call in advance.
