Great public facility in the heart of Fort Lauderdale Beach. The facility is old, and the locker rooms are pretty gross. However, it's awesome to have access to an Olympic size pool! Some of the staff can be a little mean, but you just have...More

This museum isn't advertised, but it certainly is worth seeing. There are two separate bldgs and both must be seen. There are beautiful medals, bathing suits, videos, photos, sculptures...so much to see. You can spend 60-90 mins. here, with no problem. In between the two...More

The city of Fort Lauderdale should take more pride in maintaining this world renown facility! The hours are shorter and shorter. Closing at 1 pm on Saturday and Sunday is very limiting since I work until 2 pm on Saturday and go to church Sunday...More

If you swim or your kids have participated in competitive swimming - or if you are an Olympics junky - don't miss this place. We planned an hour but should have planned at least two, maybe three. There were videos of famous swims, an exhibit...More

The pools looked great and the people were very nice. It was such a hot and steamy day, the pools were calling you to jump in to take a dip.

Came here for personal coaching instruction. Once we got a hold of them we easily scheduled lessons. The coaches were great. The facilities are old but large and well kept.

Is the swimming hall of fame opened on Sunday? And is it free to swim
10 July 2016|
Answer
Response from M23rdPWR | Reviewed this property |
Yes, it's open on Sunday if there is not a swimming event going on. There is a charge to swim anytime unless you are a resident of Ft. Lauderdale. I would call in advance.
