Captain Taco knows his stuff. We've been fishing with him or his son Lou for several years and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good day on the water and great fishing. We have always caught fish. Sailfish, sharks, mahi (dolphin), amberjack, tuna... the list goes on.

What an awesome day with Capt. Darin and mate Taylor. These guys took us out the day before hurricane Matthew was supposed to hit Florida for an epic afternoon trip! We went out in search of a sailfish and that is exactly what we got. My first one in fact that was followed up by a proposal from my boyfriend!... More

Hooked Up will not disappoint! Our family of 4 went on a 4 hour excursion Sunday morning. We had never been deep sea fishing before so we had no idea what to expect. The Crew was amazing. Made us feel right at home and talked us through what they were doing. The whole time they worked to make sure we... More

The crew could not have been more accommodating. They worked hard to get the species we wanted. Had a blast. Would definitely charter again.

Yes, it is true. Even after paying your $150 a person plus tax once you get going they tell you that you need to pay an extra $80 for bait. SERIOUSLY!!! I have been on numerous deep sea fishing trips IN SOUTH FL and I have never encountered this before. The boat is old and in need of a serious... More

I've been out with the "Hooked Up" guys 4 times now and every trip was a great time. I can't say enough about Taco and Louis. I live locally and fish the same waters as them pretty regularly with friends, but when it's time to get serious and go out with guys that are true professionals...The "Hooked Up" crews are... More

After paying $550 for half day the ad had said we'd get 10% off or an additional hour. We got neither. False advertising. Fishing was very bad. They trolled off a near by reef and caught a few Bonitas which are not eatible. Also we were told at the end that a 20% tip was mandatory and they demanded that... More

We joined a shared charted last Thursday with Captain Greg and deckhand Jake. We left promptly at 8:00 and were fishing as soon as we got out of the inlet. We were catching fish within 30 mins. We were accompanied by two other single guys and we all took turns reeling in fish after fish. We caught bonita, amberjack, kingfish, and... More

Upon learning when my son and his fiancé were coming to visit, I performed plenty of searches and inquiries on experiences, I chose to book the Hooked Up with captain Taco. I talked with captain Taco multiple times, asking questions and inquiring on details of the charter. I felt that he had a great personality and believed that fishing with... More
