The Winter Estates of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford were built on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River in FTMyers. The grounds are impeccably well landscaped. The buildings have been kept in pristine condition. Mr Edison's labs have been preserved to accurately present their original status. There are many walking tours of the grounds and homes. One can purchase audio... More

The grounds were immaculate, Mr. Edison's interest in botany for both visual and scientific purposes was amazing.

A must see if you're in town. The area is beautiful and it is interesting to see how they lived their lives. It wouldn't have been as cool with out the christmas lights, but still a must see!

It is great how authentically everything has been preserved. Hands on exhibits great for kids and the outside plant life and trees are as interesting as the science and technology inside.
