Pleasant walk on the Edison and Ford Estates

Interesting to see the samples of various flora brought from around the world. The large banyan tree and those gigantic fig trees are spectacular!

I really enjoyed this as well as Palms Park in downtown. There is so much this man contributed to our society.

Across the street from the Ford/Edison Estates is the entrance/gift shop/museum/parking, and the impressive trees around the park. The staff has done an excellent job identifying all the species and has signs by each one to describe them. Fascinating!

The tour is recommended and reasonably priced. Should combine it with the Ford Estate. Interesting facts that one would not expect about Edison. Visit Pinchers Restaurant when done with your visit.

Very interesting and educational plants are very well labeled. The audio tour is quite informative. The view is wonderful as is the history. Definitely a must see.

We were there in December so enjoyed the Holiday Nights they have for the holidays. The houses and grounds were decorated beautifully. The museum was worth every minute we spent there. Many of Edison's inventions were on display in his home as well. This will be worth your time to stop for a visit.

This attraction is misnamed. It should be called The Edison-Ford Estates and not Edison Park. Edison Park is the neighborhood in which the south side of the Edison Estate is located. The Edison Park neighborhood can't be beat for location, quality of schools, friendly neighbors and the fact it is listed as a Historic Neighborhood. So you might want to... More

Flora abounds, some of it exotic. Defininately beautiful and worth the time. Gorgeous views of the Caloosahatchee.
