We drove by and it's closed for renovations. Call before you go. It looked like it would be fun, but it says it's been closed since 2016 😞

It's a nice little museum, good way to spend 2 hours or so. This is about as much excitement as SWFL provides besides fishing, gators, and golf.

My husband and I enjoyed seeing the early years of Florida. The museum does a great job in presenting the information.

There is a small cabin out front and an old passenger train you can go into at your own leisure, which I felt was a real bonus. I really enjoyed that. I recommend seeing this museum. A lot of local history on display. Very nice.

Although this is a small museum, it has some very interesting historical exhibits and material. Take a few hours to really appreciate all it has to offer!

Had no idea there was a museum in Fort Myers like this. Quant but quite interesting and informative. It was raining the day I went so I didn't go I to the train but they offered us a return visit on the house.

These 2 museums are no where near each other. It's probably a 25 minute drive from one to the other in Lakes Park.
