Safe place to walk. Lots of shops and places to eat. It was four city blocks from the Edison/ Ford homes. Plenty of parking, with no problems. Check out the big yachts at the city docks.

This is a beautiful area of downtown Fort Myers, a great representation of Southwest Florida. Some beautiful buildings, great stores, bars and restaurants, even some good museums too. Extra special at Christmas with the lights. I love to walk around this area.

Great place to walk along the water or sit in the park, handicap accessible, if no special events are on, parking is not bad.

Who knew this town had so much to offer? We stayed downtown over Labor Day and could have spent several more days. Cute shops, nice restaurants and a lovely hotel (Indigo Inn). Will return.
