We are classic car fans and the last Saturday of each month there is a car show on the downtown streets, the old music rocks and the patrons wander up and down the streets smiling at all the memories of the past. The local resturants and pubs have lots of outdoor seating and each one has a interesting décor and... More

Nice area for walking around. Edison and Ford winter estates are well worth the visit. Then relax and refresh at Pinchers next door overlooking the Caloosahatchee River.

Stumbled across the downtown River walk area by mistake as the ciyt was preparing for the Art walk weekend event. Parked our car, walked along the river, and noticed a bar in the Sky. Yes, the Sky Bar, what a wonderful place to take in Happy Hour, and it ends when the sun sets! The main downtown was closed off,... More

Nice area to do a "walk about" before going to Florida Rep Theater! Lots of restaurants and some interesting shops. The River area has some nice walking areas looking over the water.

Southern charm with gorgeous water side park. Lots of fun oversized metal sculptures scattered around the area. Several indoor/outdoor street cafes. Beautiful view of the bridges and boats with ample places to park.

We walked along the riverfront and viewed all the artist's wares. Beautiful sun shiny day. Sampled the food.

We had visited The Riverwalk on a weekday afternoon. Not much goes on then. However, we decided to give it another try on a Saturday night. What a difference! There was music in the square behind some of the restaurants. It was crowded with people. There are all types of shops, restaurants and bars. We had a great time people... More
