Enjoy the white sandy beach and the cool clear gulf water with the waves coming in. The pelicans and gulls flying over the water were so graceful.

Between Fort Walton & Destin, is this absolutely gorgeous, relaxing beach. There is restroom, showering off facilities & a look out tower with breathtaking views. Limited amount of parking, but we did find a spot everyday we went, even if we had to wait for...More

The island is very family friendly with the exception of the gentleman’s club. Beach shops, pier, restaurants, and water activities are plentiful. It was in April, so it was not crowded. The water is stunning. The sand is soft. Easy to find things to do.

We had a condo on the beach. The beach is beautiful and is kept very clean. There are not a lot of shells just mostly small ones. We watched dolphins every morning swim by.

The seven public beach access parking lots and restrooms are very well maintained and the sand is the whitest I've seen and the water is crystal clear.

We spent a week at the El Matador Condos on Okaloosa Island; there are 17 miles of white sand beach from the boardwalk to the tip of the island. We had a chance to enjoy most of it.

We had a place right on the gulf, so the view was amazing from our window, but it was just as amazing from Okaloosa Pier beach which was public. We found lots of places to eat with water views and were able to pick up...More

This area has some of the most beautiful sands of the Gulf. It feels like you are walking on flour. The sand is very clean and minimal debris or seaweed. There is not a lot of larger shells but you can find smaller ones after...More

This was such a lovely place to stay. The beaches were so white, prestine and absolutley gorgeous. Family friendly. People playing games and soaking up the sun! Can't wait to go back.

Not sure about spring break timing. Beach is very safe, this is mostly a family type location- not the ratio of bars to other venues lots of condos vs hotel rooms! Not conducive to spring breakers for strictly partying... More
