Kanapaha has beautiful display gardens, from natives to exotics; succulents to water lillies; and spectacular bamboo selections. The walking trails are so relaxing. I would recommend a stop here for any plant lovers.

It was a lovely walk through Northern Florida. The spanish moss was hangling and the azaleas were blooming. I think they had flood damage from hurricane so are still recovering. Wonderful children's area. I loved it. So fun.

Even in the dead of winter, February 2018, these beautiful gardens were still worth the admission price. The blooms were not present but you could appreciate the two distinct walking paths, one 1 mile long and the other .5 mile long. Each with it's own...More

Being a bit of a plant nerd, I was thrilled with the variety of plants, the scenery, the display gardens - especially the herb and knot gardens! - and the wonderful paths to travel. This is a well maintained, but not fussy, garden with a...More

This is a beautiful garden, with trails, flowers, places to take pictures and relaxing. Price is $8 per adult, but that day there was a wedding and the admissions person was busy so we went in without paying. We did leave a donation before leaving...More

What a wonderful way to spend the day, this is a well thought out and thoroughly enjoyable walk. Although some labels were is poor condition, overall plants and trees were identified. Look out for the tiny frogs!

My cousin just got married in Kanapaha Gardens this weekend. It was a Friday afternoon just after the park closed to visitors. It was an absolutely beautiful venue. The oak he and his wife got married under was very picturesque. The banquet hall and porch...More

I would say April is the best time to visit the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens. It has been cold and except for azaleas, our flowers are not in bloom.

Yes, on a leash. We take our dog each time we go. We always take a bag in case she poops, and we watch for alligators near the water. It is a great place to walk dogs!
