Me and my dad and his wife use to come here all the time. It is like a home away from home to me. I may not have my dad but at least i still have this place.

Pine forests, flatwoods, marshes, and VISTAs ! Plenty of trails to avoid any intersections ( although only an occasional dog walker). The undergrowth is cleared back enough so that you get a great horizon through the trees. Keep walking, though, and you'll splish-splash through the...More

Been here several times. It is always peaceful and relaxing. We have walked the trails several times and taken our dog several times. Go uptake tower and look out onto the water.

Lots of good trails AND....one of them takes you directly to the Gulf of Mexico!! Shuffle your feet if you get in though, there are stingrays in the water.

Love the tower and boardwalk. Lot cooler under trees. Nice wide paths and saw a lot of turtles. Was not real busy so it was nice and quiet.

We have a Shih Tzu that we let off lease in the park. I always watch for others so that he does not bother them. I see a lot of dogs off lease. Hope this helps..
