Went here on a whim - saw lots of animals and manatees. They have kennels for your dogs at the park entrance (you cannot take them with you) but they are under shade and with water, which was a bonus since we had checked out...More

Amazing place to visit and see Florida's awesome wildlife up close and personal. You can view the 3 resident manatees year round which is nice.

Relaxing way to spend the day. You can get beautiful pictures. It takes about 2-3 hours to enjoy the whole park.

Really enjoyed this wildlife park and got some amazing photos of various birds. Very peaceful and quiet when we visited; not crowed which was nice for taking photos. Enjoyed the short boat ride as well. Lots of places to sit, relax and enjoy the wildlife....More

The cafe has exceptionally reasonable ice cream and food if you don't want to picnic.

There are benches along the walk and a concession stand, but I don't recall a picnic area (tables,grilling area etc) other than tailgating in the parking lot. There is a snack bar area across from the gift shop

Hours: 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. year 'round. Open 365 days a year. Ticket counters close at 4:45 p.m. Fees: Adults (age 13 and over) $13.00 Children (ages 6 through 12) $5.00 Children 5 and under are admitted free.
