If you enjoy viewing photos from years gone by and/or want to introduce your kids to another era, you will like this museum. I toured it in an hour or maybe less, and read most of the plaques with descriptions. This museum is very well organized and does a good job of telling the changes in IRB from beginning to... More

This is a really interesting place to visit, if you're interested in history. A cute little Museum, recording the history of the area. The land was originally occupied by Indian's, who gave the area it's name. I found it fascinating to see how more and more people, made this part of Florida their home. There are some fantastic photos depicting... More

I stopped in to see if it would be worthwhile to take guests there, and was delightfully surprised to find a large and very interesting museum. Hours are limited so check their website, but well worth a visit.

The rise and fall of IRB captures US 20th century history in microcosm and it's... More

I can only write wonderful thoughts about this place. The welcome from the delightful Shera and Mr. B was amazing along with their sincere love of the locality enthralled my family and I. Having two young daughters in our visit they were engrossed with the depth of knowledge and wisdom of our guides. A very personal trip into this museum... More
