This is a great seaturtle conservation organization. They have a turtle hospital and small education center. The most notable thing with this organization is the during seaturtle nesting season (May - August), they take you on guided walk to watch the turtles up close.

Great to see Loggerhead still doing fine rehab work for local turtles. I volunteered here when I was 15 and it's been many, many years since I've been back. Went for a quick visit and they have many rehabbing turtles out for visitors to see and volunteers give good insight on the turtles medical journey and what's next for them.... More

Stopped by when going to the beach and glad we did. Free to enter and very informative and interesting. Saw lots of turtles of all ages. Information displayed on each turtle about their story when they were rescued and what treatment they are having. Very busy at weekends.

The volunteers that work there are fantastic: knowledgeable and eager to answer absolutely any questions or give more information about the turtles in the various tanks that are recovering and undergoing rehabilitation. There are labels on each tank or part thereof that tell of the location of the rescue, how the rescue came about, the treatment and the prospect for... More

We arrived just after two sea turtles had been released back into the sea, so it was a busy morning at the facility. The turtles have their story and rehab situation posted next to their tanks so you can see their progress. Numerous, well informed docents will answer any and all questions you might have. If you have any interest... More

Good for kids. There are turtles in outdoor tanks, one turtle per tank. Injured or diseased turtles are brought here for treatment and rehab, with the hope that they can thereafter be released back into the ocean. There are information placards at the tanks giving the visitor info about the turtle in that tank. Some turtles, though, because of their... More

Sick turtles are brought here for rescue and rehabilitation. The Veterinary team does an amazing job, along with the many volunteers. It is non profit and relies on donations from the public and proceeds from their wonderful gift shop. Great for families, as well as adults.
