Not for the mobility impaired, the climb to the top is somewhat strenuous but so worth the incredible views. The docents are very knowledgable. The huge ficus tree and the museum are charming and informative. Location on the Jupiter Inlet is lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Cost $10 for adults. Less for seniors and children.

The Jupiter lighthouse and museum is a wonderful experience. The claim is a bit strenuous but the view makes it worth it seeing the Atlantic and the Jupiter inlet. The museum and its maps show the historical significance of the area especially around the WW2 era.

There are 105 steps to climb to the top, but well worth it. The view was awesome. The tour guide was excellent and provided very interesting history facts. You can not go onto the grounds or to the lighthouse without a guide. The cost was $10.00 per person. There is also a small museum that is included with the tour... More

If you are a lighthouse fan, or just love a challenge, climb the 105 steps to the top of this stately structure. Once aloft you will be rewarded with a prime view of the city and harbor. This lighthouse contains a first order Fresnel lens, the largest of it's type. The beam can be seen up to 25 miles away.... More

We spent the whole afternoon at the lighthouse. The museum had lots of historical artefacts along with some fun interactive displays. The tour of the lighthouse was very detailed, you will be surprised how much history is attached to the lighthouse. The climb up the lighthouse was most definitely worth the view, absolutely breathtaking. If you get visit on a... More

The lighthouse is well cared for and the guide was excellent. The small museum is interesting. They climb is doable, but some degree of fitness is necessary. Views at the top are beautiful.

Make sure you visit the Jupiter Lighthouse if you are in the Jupiter area. So much history at this site involving the Seminole Indians, and the Civil War. It is a beautiful coastal area and grounds that is breathtaking once you are up high in the lighthouse. You can definitely take panoramic photos from this location.

Great history from Civil War to WWII. Generals Meade and Lee were both here. Used to track German subs in WWII. Hiked the 105 steps to top. Great view of area from top. Had oldest house in area also on grounds. Old Florida house from 1800's. Took 3 hours to view all.

Thank Karen H
