This is a beautiful area from the lovely town to the beautiful beaches. You can find everything you need to rejuvenate yourself. Find a hotel and stay a few days to really get the feel. You'll probably want to come back. Great restaurants, history abounds and do not miss the white sandy beaches. Unbelievable!

We stopped at Fernandina Beach as an overnight stop on our way to Savannah. The sunrise over the beach is just stunning with the most amazing array of birds that flock the area. Definitely worth a stop just to experience this

Amelia Island is amazing..Clean, perfect in every way. Fernandina Beach is the main "Town" on Amelia Island. It is a restored, normal, not turisty Town. The people are amazing and real Southern polite. Many great Restaurants, no chains on the Island. We stayed at the Omni how do you say PERFECT. We stayed at their Sandcastles Villas, amazing beach front... More

There is nothing more pleasant than relaxing on the beach listening to the Atlantic Ocean crashing onto the sand. Just perfect for families too

This is a great area to live in. Actually Fernandina Beach was only on Amelia Island with Yulee being off Island. Then a golf course was designed by Tom Fazio and I understand he wanted it in Fernandina Beach not Yulee so the city limits were changed. There are a lot of wonderful neighborhoods in the area as well as... More

I researched this for my sisters bday with her hubby. They loved it. Their hotel on beach was great and mgr was helpful. Walking tour was great. At xmas time it's like Charles dickens tale.

The view is spectacular! Sand dunes and sea oaks add to the beauty. Many beach parks and luxury rentals on the water. Quaint downtown shops and restaurants close by. Beautiful area of charming homes too! Many activities are available for all ages.

On a sunny december Sunday we enjoyed the beach practically to ourselves. The surf was amazing the sand dunes glorious. Can't wait to plan a real beach vacation there. Horse back riding. Running. Swimming.

Wander the streets in many directions and you will find interesting shops, and places to eat fine food. The trolley ride is novel, and fun. Large and small restaurants abound, and are found on all streets on and off the main drag. It is safe at all times of day and night.

Love to visit here! So much variety--from the historic downtown to the beaches to the south end canopy road--there is something for everyone! Lots of great places to eat : fast food to fancy sit down. Plenty of shops to choose from!
