Family owned and operated beach ranch nestled within the Amelia Island State Park, Florida (north of Jacksonville). The Kellys run one of the only full-time licensed outfits offering beach horseback rides in the country. Ranch offers gentle, guided tours starting from the ranch with a short trail ride through the wild maritime hammock, over dunes and then along miles of white pristine beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. This is the perfect place to fulfill that lifetime dream of riding a horse along the ocean. Note: All rides leave directly from the ranch, never from a public parking lot. Can accommodate larger groups.

We have always wanted to ride horses by the ocean! This was the way to go if you are a inexperienced rider. The horses are tame and sweet!! The beach is so pretty where the guides take you. Right now the trail is pretty wet(lots...More

We thoroughly enjoy a gentle horseback ride wherever we go, but few offer the combination of forest trails and beach splendor that this one does. Horses were all extremely well behaved and ideal for beginners or intermediate riding.

Had a fabulous time. Bonnie and Chris were awesome! Very professional but still very laid back and made our trip fun.

I was an experienced rider during my youth but 75 years has changed that. With lots of joint issues, getting on and off was an ordeal and the source of merriment to my fellow riders. Well enough. Once in the saddle, things got better. The...More

First, you'll need to sign a waiver and let the staff know your level of expertise at horseback riding. Next the guide will give you a quick lesson in how to control the horse. I was a beginner -- have only ridden a few times...More

I went today with a friend and first when I called the woman told me to be there at 11:30 or I would not be allowed to ride and so we got there in record time only to wait another 30 minutes until the guides...More

Overall had a good time. Very well trained and good tempered horses. Weather didn't cooperate too much the day we went but otherwise very good time.

It was cool to see the beach on horseback. It was nice and quiet, but too quiet. Wish the guides would give some history about the area or the beach or the park while we rode. The ride has to be single file so safety...More

Worst experience. Horseback ride was short and the mosquitos were out of control. Staff was not the most pleasant, no pictures or videos were allowed. Yet they will take pictures for you for $7 each. It just doesn't make sense save your money there's many...More
